Calhoun High School- HC (2018- Present)

Clay Stephenson serves as the Head Football Coach at Calhoun High School, leading one of the most respected and tradition-rich programs in the state of Georgia. A longtime member of the Calhoun football community, Coach Stephenson has been instrumental in the continued success of the Yellow Jackets, both as an assistant coach and now as the head of the program.

During his tenure, Coach Stephenson has guided Calhoun to consistent success on the field, highlighted by the 2024 and 2021 GHSA State Championship, where the Yellow Jackets secured their place among Georgia’s elite. Known for his offensive expertise, player development, and strong leadership, he has helped shape Calhoun into a program built on discipline, toughness, and excellence.

Coach Stephenson understands the pride, tradition, and community that come with wearing the black and gold. He has devoted his career to investing in student-athletes, helping them succeed not only in football but also in the classroom and in life beyond high school.

Under his leadership, Calhoun continues to uphold its storied legacy while preparing the next generation of Yellow Jackets to compete at the highest level.
